Japan Used Buses

A bus is a road vehicle designed to carry many passengers. Buses can have a capacity as high as 300 passengers. The most common type of bus is the single-deck rigid bus, with larger loads carried by double-decker and articulated buses, and smaller loads carried by minibuses coaches are used for longer-distance services.

Buses may be used for school transport, private hire, scheduled bus transport, scheduled coach transport, or tourism, promotional buses may be used for political campaigns and others are privately operated for a wide range of purposes, including rock and pop band tour vehicles.

Smaller minibuses have a lower capacity and open-top buses are typically used for leisure purposes. In many new fleets, particularly in local transit systems, a shift to low-floor buses is occurring, primarily for easier accessibility.

History of Japan Buses

The Japan Bus Association takes the first bus business in Japan as an example of the Nii Shokai, and has established September 20, the day of the company's test run, as the bus day and 1987 (Showa 62).

However, since the vehicle used is six-seater, it can be judged whether it can be said to be a bus in terms of vehicles.

1905 (1905) February, the bus of the 12-seater in between from Yokogawa of Hiroshima Kabe (photo) has been operating. Some say that this is the first bus service in Japan.

However, there were frequent problems such as breakdowns of vehicles, and lack of expenses (some times silver coins were melted to procure parts), so sales ended in September.
